Cecil To Serve on AAF Greenville Board

Congratulations to our founder & creative director Christopher Cecil on being installed to AAF Greenville’s 2013 Board. SLANT is thrilled to be involved with such a stellar organization. And when we say stellar, we’re not just blowing smoke. AAF Greenville was just recognized as Division Four Club Of The Year.

When asked to share a comment, Cecil said: "It's awesome to be surrounded by some truly inspirational people in the creative industry. I can't wait to get involved and learn. Plus, you know...free food and stuff."

Dead Battery Anxiety ads in Times Square

A few of our DBA video ads ran on the CBS screen on 42nd Street in Times Square February-March. (Check out the originals below).

To end the run, SLANT created a spot that challenged Microsoft Tag-savvy viewers to use their mobile phone to snap a giant Tag on the screen. Those who could master the open-app-and-snap in less than :30 were whisked away to the DBA YouTube channel for more DBA hilarity.

Fun, right? We thought so!

SLANT has a new team member!

We'd like to congratulate Megan DeCamilla for becoming the newest member of the SLANTastic entourage! Megan joins us as head of Office Intelligence which means she'll keep us in line and our clients informed.  

When asked how it felt to be the newest member of the SLANT team, DeCamilla said: "Could someone tell that Will Bullock guy to stop harassing me with his Star Wars figurines?" Okay, not really.  But she did say: "Working full-time at SLANT has been great - I just hope those guys know what they've gotten themselves into."
